Daddy had to work all weeked this year, as usual. So, the three of you and Mama were invited to watch the fireworks at Oaklawn with Mamaw. We met in Glenwood, went to supper at Colton's, and the headed to the big event. We got there early, so we sat in the bleachers near the restrooms and we got a good parking spot. It was a pretty long wait until dark, but Mamaw was prepared with a bag full of treats and you guys had brought along a few toys. There was a remote control airshow going on for our entertainment, too. Charlie loved in the best and tried to grab for the planes out of the sky. So sweet to see those little hands reaching up, not know that the planes were way out of reach. The firworks were beautiful! All three of you loved them! On Saturday night we went to another fireworks display with Ma...Rob and Lisa and Samuel met us there and even had sparklers! Caroline and Will loved it until Will held on to his just a little too long and burned his finger. Big thank yous to Mamaw and Ma for helping us have a fun Fourth even though Daddy couldn't be there!
