Pre-Easter Festivities

We celebrated Easter for days! First of all, Caroline and Will had an egg hunt at GCS on Thursday. Will only found one egg, which is really surprising because he is pretty fast and aggressive. I figure he stopped to eat the candy out of it, while the other kids kept hunting. That's what he did last year! Friday night, we attended a "moonlight" egg hunt at the state park with all of our church family. We grilled hot dogs and visited and hunted eggs by flashlight. The older kids espcially had a great time. Caroline and Will both found lots of eggs (with candy) and Charlie just hung out with mommy and was his ever-content baby self. Saturday was a road trip to the eastern part of the state for a very special one-year-old's birthday party! It was great to visit with Heather, Karol, and lil' Mr. Preston. Wish you guys weren't so far away! We stopped by NPMC to visit Papa Bear late Saturday night, and had to make a last minute Wal-Mart run for frilly white socks for Easter. Apparently, everyone else had the same idea because there was not one single pair of white frilly socks for Caroline. We ended up with "big girl" pantyhose which she preferred anyway. I would have liked for her to wear the white socks, just one more year since she is my one and ONLY little girl, EVER. Here's to hoping for lots of grandaughters!
