We went to Mt. Joy Cemetery Sunday for a very rainy Decoration Day. We took these pics by your great-grandparents grave marker. They are Ma's mama and daddy, and I have lots of good memories of them. Caroline was so proud of her new dress with a matching pink toile dress for her American Girl doll. C and W were both fascinated by the grave of a little girl who died as a baby. It's always fixed up so sweetly with a little white picket fence around it. Caroline, last year you wanted to know all about that little girl and you said, "Mama, it's just not fair, That little girl got to go to heaven before I did." What a beautiful perspective from a child's point of view. You already understand that to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Love from Mama.
